MODEL : AUTO-GLIDE STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS 2008 FEATURES CAPACITIES Engine: Natural engine finish with retro Ridley style valve covers. Naturally finished and clear coated flywheel covers, regulator covers, and more accents. Instruments: Tank mounted dash includes a large, easy to read "dial" type mechanical speedometer, turn signal indicators, battery voltage indicator, and hi/low beam indicator. Paint: The new Auto-Glide Standard model is available in three finishes; Black, Red, and White. The frame, swing arm, and battery tank come standard in black high tolerance powder coating. Front End: Functionally identical to the rest of the 2008 model line, the Standard's front end is finished with a natural look. The brightened aluminum is finished with clear powder coating to provide long life. Safety: Additional reflectors adorn the front and rear fenders to enhance visibility at night and during the day. Exhaust: Engine exhaust noise has been reduced by increasing the exhaust pipe size and adding additional baffling. Optional exhaust is also available. Transmission: The '08 Auto-Glide Standard features Ridley's early style Type I automatic transmission. Transmission belt replacements are less than $50! Design: Full fenders front and rear. New “bobbed” split tank design is a look borrowed from the Auto-Glide Old School. Built on the same frame as other Auto-Glide models, most accessories and after market equipment fit with ease.
